Gift Aid
Did you know that Shaldon Wildlife Trust is a charity?
In the past Gift Aid has helped us rebuild our tamarin house and kookaburra enclosure
and with your support we can continue making improvements such as these to the Trust.
However as from 6th April 2006 the Government has changed the law on Gift Aid and we can
only claim Gift Aid if you make a donation that is 10% more than the entry fee.
So this
year instead of increasing our admission fees, which have remained unchanged for the
past 2 years, we have included a voluntary 10% donation. If you are a UK taxpayer
this means the government will give us an extra 28% on top of your donation. This
makes a massive difference to charities such as Shaldon Wildlife Trust and we
thank you for your support.
