We are delighted to have had twin silvery marmosets born at the Trust. Mum is looking after the babies very well although unless they're suckling the babies are carried by their father or older brothers and sisters. We actually coordinate the breeding programme for this small South American primate within Europe. Our group came to us last October from London zoo. Visitors will be able to see the babies at our Open Day on Sunday 8th October where entrance will be just £1 per head.
