Welcome to our Zoo!

Thanks for visiting our website, now why don't you come and visit us in person?

Set in an acre of woodland garden above the attractive coastal village of Shaldon, we look after, and help preserve, some of the rarest and most endangered animals in the world.

On this site you will find information on our animals and ways in which we are helping with their conservation. You can also buy some of our gift experiences and find out how to get involved with the Trust.

Opening times

We are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Summer (April - September)  10am - 5pm*

Winter  (October - March)  10am - 4pm*

*Please note that last entry to the zoo will be 45 minutes before closing time

Little lemurs are star of BIAZA Love Your Zoo Week.

It's Love Your Zoo week this half term at Shaldon Zoo and you will be bowled over by some of our cutest new arrivals!   Two of our lemur groups have had first time babies this spring and they are all just starting to come outside and explore the big wide world.   Come along to the Zoo to see baby Red-bellied lemur "Amalie" as well as triplet Red-ruffed lemurs, the "Weasley Boys, Ron, Fred and George" We also have a baby Red titi monkey and a few mums ready to pop so come on over and meet the new gang! You can buy entrance tickets online and save the queues and we also have new adoption gift boxes where you also get free entry for a year to see our babies grow  from only £35! See you soon....  ...
