It has been a busy time for some of the animals here at the Trust lately, and we have seen several births over the past few weeks.
Our Pygmy marmoset family have given birth to triplets - a most unusual event, and all 3 are doing very well. Our Saki monkeys have a baby boy, who has just started coming off mum's back and exploring his environment this week. Our lovebirds have lived up to their name and are sitting on 15 eggs at the moment, so we hope to see the fledglings in the next few weeks pop out of the nest boxes. And finally, the Mouse deer fawn that has been hand-reared by staff is now fully weaned, meaning that for the first time in the world, a successful artificial rearing of this amazing animal has happened.
